

DR. LYNN JONES - PASTOR
Lynn Jones is a veteran pastor who has served Clear Creek Baptist as interim pastor and pastor for three years. Dr. Jones holds a Ph. D degree in New Testament from Southwestern Baptist Seminary and has taught courses at Southwestern, Blue Mountain college, and Northeast Mississippi Community College. In addition to his teaching, he has served as pastor since he was 19 years old. He writes a weekly religion column for the Tupelo Daily Journal and Desoto County News, and is also the author of two books, Your Inspiration Break and Inspiration for Your Journey from Mine. Dr. Jones and his wife, Danielle, have lived in Wellsgate in Oxford for the past 13 years. Their son, Blake, and his wife, Amy, live near Hernando, MS.

FRANK NELSON - MINISTER OF MUSIC
Frank Nelson has served our church as Minister of Music for three years. He is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and is a graduate of Mississippi College. Frank has been active in music all of his life. He has sung in a southern gospel quartet and in the choir at North Oxford Baptist Church for many years. He enjoys all types of music and has led our church choir in special music presentations at Christmas and Easter. Frank and his late wife, Jenny, are parents of one daughter, Jennifer, who is a professor at the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. Her husband, Marcus, is also a professor at the same school. They are parents of one son, Lane, who is a senior in high school.

JAMES DUKES - MINISTER OF YOUTH AND CHILDREN
James Dukes is a native of Booneville, Mississippi, where he helped Booneville High School win two state championships. He later helped lead Northeast Mississippi Community College to the state community college championship. James is now at Ole Miss, where he is a Pre-Dental major. He was saved at First Baptist Church in Booneville, and was very active in their youth group. He has also been active in FCA. James leads our youth in Sunday and Wednesday Bible Study, as well as in many fun activities.
